About the project

I was brought in to address a clear challenge. The customer had already defined a set of prepaid broadband user journeys, covering both acquisition and self-care. While the functional structure was in place, the experience lacked emotional impact and a distinctive visual identity in an increasingly competitive market.

My role was to elevate what already existed. Through strong art direction and thoughtful visual design, I transformed the experience from purely functional into something engaging, cohesive, and brand-led.

This project wasn’t about changing what the journeys did, but redefining how they felt. By layering creativity onto a solid foundation, we created a more distinctive product experience, strengthened its marketing potential, and brought new energy to the overall proposition.

Project Goals

The main goal was to evolve a purely functional set of user journeys into an experience that could stand out in a highly competitive market. Broadband and telecom journeys often follow similar patterns, and the challenge was to break away from that familiarity and create something more distinctive.

The project demonstrated that even within predefined structures, design can significantly elevate how a product is perceived and experienced.

To achieve this, I focused on three key objectives. First, enhancing the user interface through a modern design system that made the flows intuitive, consistent, and enjoyable to use. Second, establishing a clear art direction that created visual cohesion across the experience and reinforced the brand identity. Finally, shaping the journeys to support the broader marketing strategy, transforming functional flows into a product experience the customer could confidently promote.
